Details
The "Saint Eustache" barometer is a replica of an exceptional barometer which adorned the beautiful residences of the 19th century. This was made by the engineer Chevalier, a great maker of that time. In the shape of a diamond, it is framed by a wooden rod covered with glass, on which a garland of vine leaves has been painted. The presence of one or more barometers in houses was explained by the fact that it was the only way to predict the weather the following days.
