ACCOUNT CREATION
There are two scenarios:
If you are an individual, you can create an account on our site that will allow you to finalize an order, track the status of your order, and view your order history.
If you are a professional (with proof of activity as a Decorator, Architect, Retailer in the field of decoration, or Hotelier), you have the option to create a "Professional" account on our site. Once we have verified the information you provided and validated your professional status, you will be able to complete your online purchases, benefiting from a special rate dedicated to professionals.
If you have not received your access codes by email, be sure to check your spam folder.

ORDER
You can check the status of your order in real-time in your customer area, under the "My Orders" section. On the day your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number and the carrier's link, allowing you to follow the delivery steps.
Our customer service is also available to check the status and progress of your order and to answer any questions you may have.
All credit card payments are 100% secured by the Stripe platform, in accordance with French and international interbank security protocols. Stripe allows users to make online purchases safely and with complete peace of mind.
Once your order has left our warehouse, your invoice will be available in your customer account. To view it, simply log in to your account and go to the "My Orders" section.

PAYMENT IN 3 INSTALLMENTS WITHOUT FEES WITH ALMA
- Payment in 3 installments without fees with Alma is eligible for baskets ranging from €350 to €2,000.
- Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard, and American Express issued in one of the following countries: France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Austria.
- Prepaid and virtual cards, as well as cards requiring systematic authorization, are not accepted.
- The credit card must be valid for 90 days following the first due date.
On the payment page, select "Check Order" and then "Pay Now."
You will be redirected to an Alma payment page where you will need to enter your banking details as you would for a standard payment. You will find a summary of your upcoming installments there.
You will then receive a summary email from Alma with your installment schedule, followed by a reminder email 3 days before each due date.
Alma systematically performs a 3D Secure verification to confirm that you are indeed the owner of the card used.
Your bank will then send you a confirmation SMS or a push notification in your banking app to verify that you are initiating this transaction and that it is not fraudulent.
With Alma, we offer you the option to spread your payment by paying in 3 installments. It’s simple, secure, and without fees! When you make your payment for an order, one-third of the total amount is charged on the same day. The following month, the second third is charged, followed by the last third in the third month.
For example, for an order of €100 to be paid in 3 installments, made on May 2:
- You pay €33.34 on the same day
- Then €33.33 on June 2
- And finally €33.33 on July 2.
Since dividing €100 by 3 is not perfect, the rounding is applied to the first installment.
Alma is our payment partner, but it does not have access to the management of our orders. If you wish to cancel your order or request a refund, please contact us at the following address: admin@misendemeure.com. In case of a refund, the amounts of the installments already paid will be refunded to the credit card used for the purchase, and the unpaid installments will be canceled. Once the refund is processed, you will receive an email from Alma with an update on the payment schedule.

DELIVERY
Delivery times are indicated in the technical sheet of each product.
Most of our furniture and upholstered items are made to order and are announced with an average lead time of 6 to 8 weeks. Depending on the availability of wooden furniture and the origin of the fabrics, this timeframe may vary.
The average delivery time for products we have in stock is 10 days.
The delivery options are detailed in the "Delivery & Return" document located in the footer of the homepage of our website.
Initially, we only deliver in France (including Corsica under specific conditions, excluding DOM-TOM).
For any requests for shipments abroad, you have two options:
- Choose to pick up from our warehouse at the time of order confirmation, allowing you to arrange delivery with the carrier of your choice. Once the order is ready for pickup, you will receive an email specifying the pickup procedures.
- Contact us at the address contact@misendemeure.com.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If the defect is visible at the time of delivery (for example, due to damaged packaging), we recommend taking a photo and refusing the delivery while indicating the reservations on the delivery note.
If you notice a defect after unpacking the item, you have a maximum of 3 days to contact us. We will find the most satisfactory solution for you: the replacement or repair of the item, the free reshipment of a new compliant item, or a refund.
Customer satisfaction is paramount, so if you are not satisfied, you can return your items.
After receipt, you have 14 calendar days to inform us of your wish to return one or more items. The returned items must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging.
Once we have received the item and after verification, we will process the refund to the original payment method within a maximum of 14 days.
MANUFACTURING
Mis en Demeure primarily works with European artisans, entrusting its manufacturing to the best craftsmen in each specialty, prioritizing French production whenever it enhances the quality of the products.
The furniture and upholstered items are made in Spain in the Malaga region, while ceramics and glassware are produced in the Valencia region.
Some lighting, accessories, and mirrors come from Asia, where they are made exclusively by hand, just like all Mis en Demeure products.
Wooden Furniture
The furniture from Mis en Demeure is crafted with great respect for woodworking techniques, with each piece handmade and assembled. All visible parts of the furniture (aesthetic pieces) are made from solid wood or noble veneer. The non-visible parts are made from solid wood or panel-based materials. Fragile elements (legs, corners, edges, and panel edges) are made from beech, a hardwood that is shock-resistant and sculptable. Desk tops, tables, sideboards, and dressers are made from MDF (Medium Density Fiber) with a veneer of oak, beech, or Nordic pine. This technical process makes the tops very durable and prevents warping over time or due to climate changes, unlike solid wood. The drawers and interiors of the furniture are made from Nordic pine. Some Mis en Demeure furniture comes from Asia, made from solid rubberwood or mango wood.
Metal Furniture
The painted steel used by Mis en Demeure is untreated against oxidation to maintain its raw appearance and the patina of time.
Lighting
All the crystal drops of Mis en Demeure chandeliers are made of glass, while lamp bases are made from metal, turned wood, or plaster.
The technical datasheets available on our website provide details of the patinas available for each Mis en Demeure product. These variations correspond to the patinas most suited to the style of the furniture.
However, it is possible to place an order with a different patina than those suggested. Please contact our sales team.
MAINTENANCE TIPS
To ensure the longevity of the fabrics and the shine of your patinas, Mis en Demeure recommends a healthy maintenance routine using a simple cloth dampened with water. Avoid the use of chemical products as much as possible.
